I've been super stressed all week but I'm trying not to let that affect my enjoyment of this spectacular day. It just gorgeous out there. I just got back from a very long walk along the river trail. It is that perfect time of the year when it is warm (but not hot), everything is in bloom (not burnt from the heat) and perhaps best of all - no bugs yet. I've taken long walks on the trails several days this week. Working out in the morning is really freeing up my time in the evening - its great to have a guilt free evening doing someting outside.
I will be heading down to my mother's shortly to take her for lunc. There is a cute little restaurant near the lake - it is a converted house. They have left all the small rooms intact but filled them up with tables. It is Victorian looking and very cute - the food is not bad either. It is my mother's favourite restaurant so that's where we're going. Perhaps a little walk after that - now that she is well healed from having both knees replaced in the last couple of years, she can actually go on short walks. I'm guessing the walk will have to include a stop for ice cream on a day like today.
Make mine a chocolate mint please.
In a waffle cone.

That sounds like a wonderful day to me. I need to get out running before it starts raining. The day is not so pretty here.

That soundes delightful - I hope that you both enjoyed yourselves!! We did our thing at home - but had a lot of fun. I posted a picture of us knitting on the freshair site - so much fun packed into a short afternoon!!
And - I've started to exercise again and it feels SOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOD! I find you quite inspirational, so you just keep being yourself and I'll follow along.
