I never win anything ... my luck has got to change sometime so I am entering travel related contests like crazy. Strangely many of the contests have been for trips to the UK. The Globe & Mail had a contest awhile back - the grand prize - a luxury trip to London. Can't remember what the contests was to commemorate. The current contest is from CBC Television and is related to showing the English series Dr Who. Every week there is a trivia question from the show. Of course I won't win but it is fun entering and allows me to daydream a bit.
I do have a trip to London planned for the fall (Sept 12-26) My recently planned trip to NYC fell through but this one in September is pretty certain. That is unless I win a contest for a free trip in the meantime.
I never win anything from those contests except, perhaps, a dozen or so telemarketing calls. Gah!
