Through a comment left on a recent post at <a href="http://blogs.salon.com/0002007/">'How To Save The World</a>' I've just discovered a UK based magazine called <a href="http://www.newint.org/">'The New Internationalist'</a>.
I didn't have a lot of time to browse their well designed website today (work is interfering!) but so far I'm impressed - lots of interesting articles ... both on-line and featured in their monthly magazine. I've subscribed to the magazine - I still prefer to read the paper version. There is an electronic newsletter available. An on-line shope features merchandise and some interesting looking vegetarian cookbooks.
Check out Dave Pollard's excellent blog <a href="http://blogs.salon.com/0002007/">'How To Save The World</a> while your're at it.
Thanks, Wendy. I recently picked up a cookbook called "The Bold Vegetarian Chef" at Chapters in Sherway -- as another aspiring vegetarian I recommend it.

I read the "Letter to Geroge W. Bush", poignant stuff...

I just finished "how to Save the World" and I immediatly linked to it on my blog. I am hoping to start an indoor organic farm (hydroponics mostly) in an urban environment. I am going to reference some of the information inm y business plan.
I so wish I could be a vegetarian. I'm almost there, but I live in Texas and I really like baby bak ribs and spaghetti carbonara.
Thanks for posting this article.
